APS4 Executive Assistant to Branch Manager
- Location: Any one of these locations - Parramatta NSW, Blacktown NSW, Surry Hills NSW, Bankstown NSW OR Burwood NSW.
- Duration: until 31st December 2026 with potential for extension.
- Pay Rate: $43.82 per hour + super
- Eligibility: Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement.
We are seeking senior and highly organised Executive Assistant (EA) and administration officer to join our Federal Government client in Disability Sector. You will be able to work very independently and have a proactive mind set.
As an Executive Assistant, you will assist the Branch Manager in fulfilling their responsibilities. You will have an intimate knowledge of the work undertaken by the organisation or the ability to quickly gain this knowledge in order to provide high level administrative support and anticipate the needs of your Branch Manager and other key staff of the Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities
- Executive Coordination: Manage diaries and emails, responding effectively to changing priorities.
- Logistics & Meetings: Coordinate official meetings, travel arrangements, and functions for the Branch Manager and other Agency staff.
- Documentation: Prepare documentation for committees and projects, draft replies to correspondence, and handle confidential papers.
- Administrative Support: Provide support on personnel and financial matters and complete operational tasks of moderate complexity.
- Research: Undertake research and investigations as requested to support the Branch.
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for professional interaction with executives and stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in the Microsoft Office Suite and internal business systems.
- Problem Solving: Ability to analyze situations, identify issues quickly, and develop effective solutions.
- Public Sector Awareness: Understanding of the administrative procedures, and confidentiality/privacy principles.
Experience & Qualifications
- Preferred Experience: Proven experience in an administrative or EA role, ideally within a government or large organizational setting.
- Qualifications: A relevant qualification in Business Administration or Office Management is desirable, though equivalent work experience is highly valued.
